It is hoped to turn this into an interesting & informative website depicting the history of H.M.S. Diana, a 'Daring' Class Destroyer, built by 'Yarrow & Co' and handed over to the Royal Navy on March 9th 1954. During a distinguished career which sadly ended in 1969, when she was sold to the 'Peruvian' Navy, one of the many duties she performed was to assist in 'Operation Mosaic', the Atomic Bomb tests which took place in the Monte Bello Islands in 1956. If you have any photographs you would like to see included in this site, please send them to John Dwyer: The Picture Man If you have any interesting stories or historical facts, please put them in a Word Document (or similar) and e-mail them to: The Management
